kyinkyinga pass at service

Kyinkyinga is a roaming supper club that offers an Izakaya + listening bar dining experience in interesting and intimate spaces.

Serving an African tasting menu of skewers much like an omakase.

We hope to be a reminder that the best things to eat are grilled over coal, served on newspaper, with salts and chillies.

Come through. Listen to some tunes. Eat slow. Stay long.

Expect African umami in the form of small bites and larger plates, glazed thighs, grilled vegetables that taste like a memory and a soundtrack that stays in the pocket, whatever makes sense when the coals are glowing.

Community

We're a community restaurant — not another gentrifying neighbourhood restaurant.

We're working with Jigsaw GC, a local community interest company in north London, helping young people from various neighbourhoods get into different industries; in our case behind the grill and in the FOH.

We're trying to make good food mean something beyond the plate. If you would like to learn more about Jigsaw‑GC or the work they do, take a closer look at the many different projects they commit to in the city.
